The Salmon are Here | Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls

The salmon are migrating up the Deschutes River at Brewery Park at Tumwater Falls, Washington!

It’s that time of year when between the end of August to almost the end of October, you can see Coho and Chinook salmon making their annual trip up the Deschutes River. The salmon use the fish ladders to get to the top of Tumwater Falls where they arrive at the holding tanks. From here, some fish are released to naturally migrate further up the river while others are harvested for their eggs and raised as hatchery fish.

Here they are!
