Living in Olympia – Downtown Olympia Tour/Getting into the Christmas Spirit

What it’s like living in Olympia, Washington

Here’s a short tour of downtown Olympia getting into the Christmas spirit on Small Business Saturday 2020.

My walkabout this past Saturday around downtown Olympia, Washington was certainly quiet and subdued from year’s past.  The pandemic and the modified shutdown through December 14th have canceled the usual annual events in downtown but that isn’t stopping the small businesses from bringing holiday cheer.

Here are just some of the festive small businesses in downtown Olympia getting into the Christmas spirit.

The stores I visited in this video are:

Drees – locals rave about this store.  If you are looking for that perfect gift or item for your own home, you can’t miss going to Drees.  They have exquisite and elegant items from home furnishings, accessories, linens, kitchenware, and so much more. https://www.dreesofolympia.com/

The Popinjay is another one of my favorites with a wonderful selection of gifts and chocolate!

Belleza Ropa –  This women’s clothing store is a great place to reinvent your look, add a new accessory or pick up a new pair of kicks.

Captain Little is Olympia’s toy store where you’ll discover great finds including locally crafted toys and games.

Radiance Herbs and Massage has what you need to calm and center yourself with herbs, supplements, skin care and more.
