Tips for going to open houses:
–Say hi and introduce yourself to the hosting agent! Don’t be shy. If you are working with an agent, let them know that.
–Wear slip-on shoes as you may be asked to remove your shoes or cover them with booties.
–Keep kids with you at all times and don’t bring your pets into someone else’s home.
–Keep the lights on. It’s a habit most of us have to automatically turn off the lights as we tour each room, but leave the lights on for the other open house guests.
