This week (November 24 – November 30, 2011) is the 24th annual Providence St. Peter Foundation’s Christmas Forest. This event is held every year at the Red Lion Olympia Hotel (2300 Evergreen Park Drive) in Olympia, WA.
The Christmas Forest features decorated trees and wreaths as well as live entertainment, a raffle and a holiday gift shop. (General admission is $6)
The proceeds from the Christmas Forest support the Providence St. Peter Foundation, which support programs and services of Providence. Last year, Providence provided more than $16 million in free care to patients. The Foundation supports this mission through the generosity of donors at events like the Christmas Forest.
For the last 24 years of the Christmas Forest, my brokerage, Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty, Inc. has donated a decorated tree to be auctioned to raise funds for this charity. We have a sneak peak of what our tree looks like this year – the theme is Charlie Brown’s Christmas.
This has become an annual tradition for me and my family right after Thanksgiving, and we look forward to seeing all the 70 beautifully decorated trees and wreaths. And we are benefitting a great cause!
