It’s time again for the Christmas Forest 2014 in Olympia WA at the Red Lion Hotel!

The Christmas Forest is a five-day holiday event showcasing designer-decorated Christmas trees and wreaths, which always inspire me for decorating my own tree. Attendees can also enter a raffle to win a tree, wreath or other special items. Plus some of the decorations used on the trees can be purchased at the Holiday Gift Shop at the Red Lion.

Not only do I look forward to this event every year to see beautifully decorating trees, but this is a fundraiser, as well.
The Christmas Forest has generated funds for many St. Peter Providence programs including the St. Peter Sexual Assault Center, Cancer Survivorship Clinic, outpatient palliative care, charity care and funding life-saving medical equipment for those in need in our community.
This is an annual tradition for me and my family to attend and donate. My brokerage, Coldwell Banker Evergreen Olympic Realty, Inc. is one of the very few businesses in Olympia that has donated every single year this event has run – that’s 26 years! Many other businesses in the community support the Christmas Forest by donating trees, raffle items and sponsoring events.
Olympia WA is a wonderful place to call home and seeing this huge involvement of the community impresses me every year!
